Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Slime Water ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Definitions

  • "App": The Slime Water mobile application provided by mingrammer ("we," "us," or "our").
  • "User": Any individual who downloads, installs, or uses the App.
  • "Jelly": The virtual currency used within the App.
  • "Slime": Virtual characters that can be purchased or obtained within the App.
  • "Content": All text, images, characters, designs, sounds, and other materials provided within the App.

3. Changes to Terms

  1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
  2. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
  3. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
  4. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.

4. Description of Service

The App provides the following services:

  1. Daily water intake tracking and recording
  2. Slime character growth system based on hydration goals
  3. Missions and badge collection features
  4. Hydration reminder notifications
  5. Statistics and analytics
  6. Other features we may add from time to time

5. User Accounts

  1. The App uses anonymous authentication; no personal account creation is required.
  2. User data is managed through device-specific identifiers.
  3. Data may be lost if you uninstall the App or change devices. We are not responsible for such data loss.

6. In-App Purchases

  1. You may purchase Jelly (virtual currency) within the App.
  2. Jelly can be used to purchase various Slime characters.
  3. All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  4. Jelly and virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  5. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
  6. Refund requests are subject to the respective app store's refund policies.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  1. Modify, copy, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  2. Use automated systems (bots, scripts, etc.) to manipulate the App
  3. Exploit vulnerabilities in the App for unfair advantage
  4. Interfere with other users' normal use of the service
  5. Attempt unauthorized access to our servers or networks
  6. Violate any applicable laws or these Terms

8. Intellectual Property

  1. All Content within the App (including Slime characters, icons, designs, sounds, and text) is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  2. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our Content without prior written consent.
  3. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Service Modifications and Termination

  1. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time.
  2. We may temporarily suspend the service for:
    • System maintenance, server upgrades, or network issues
    • Force majeure events (natural disasters, emergencies, etc.)
  3. If we permanently discontinue the service, we will provide 30 days' notice through the App or our website.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  2. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  3. The App provides hydration tracking information but does not provide medical advice. Health-related decisions are solely your responsibility.
  4. We recommend consulting healthcare professionals for medical advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

  1. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
  2. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  3. We are not liable for damages resulting from:
    • Your violation of these Terms
    • Unauthorized access to your data
    • Force majeure events
    • Third-party actions

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

13. Governing Law

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

14. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements.
